Malfunction Detection

Manufacturing > Quality Control > Assembly Line > Durability > Malfunction Detection

At times even the most precision instruments will fail. This likelihood increases over time as the machinery is worn and torn through even standard use, despite constant upkeep. Similarly, advanced methods of production will occasionally lack the history necessary for the best performance. With IDT high speed cameras, factory owners and operators gain both the ability to monitor for potential problems in order to prevent their occurrence and the ability to investigate known problem areas for swift analysis and correction.

For preventative measures, the M-Series offers the clear choice. Designed to record for extended periods to an external memory bank (the Taurus Platform), and able to be triggered according to customized settings, the M3 provides for those who require speed, while the M5 is for those for whom detail is more important.

Once a problem has been noticed, the N-Series cameras are small and are able to operate autonomously* (*data review and transfer requires connection to an external source) allowing for positioning unique to the needs of the user. If light is of special concern, the N4 offers the greatest sensitivity, while the N5 is preferable for those situations in which fine details must be preserved.
