Quality Control

Manufacturing > Quality Control > Assembly Line > Durability > Malfunction Detection

Of prime importance for any product manufacturer is maintaining a level of quality that best serves the consumer while minimizing current and future costs for the company. The best way to accomplish this is through preventative measures, or quality control. Quality control can occur on the assembly line — where either the construction of the product is observed, or the mechanisms by which the product is fabricated or packed—or after the product is completed during which a series of tests are carried out to simulate real world wear and tear.

For both of these methods, high speed cameras provide an indispensable service through their ability to slow what would otherwise pass as a blur.
